I've been using Sonoma since RC1 and Photoshop works. Haven't tried the others but I don't see why they wouldn't.

I've been using InDesign and Illustrator today after updating to Sonoma and both are working fine same as in Ventura. Photoshop and Dreamweaver opens fine without issues on my end. I'm using M2 Studio.
I'm on an M1 Pro MacBook Pro with 32GB RAM and I can confirm that InDesign is not working properly AT ALL. It is VERY slow- especially with saves. It consistently crashes on Package for Print, and none of the side panel menus work on secondary monitors with the update. Beware.
Weird.. I work on Indesign all the time and in my Mac Studio M2 Max is working fine. It opens very fast and saves fast too.. I have 64gb of ram

Is anyone else finding that with Sonoma, when they try and select several items, the whole screen goes blank? It just started today when Sonoma installed itself. You'll see in the video that once I move the cursor to the left and select everything, it all goes white. Once I let go of the cursor...
Several other users reported the same issue on that forum.
I don't seem to have any issues.

Consider yourself lucky. It looks like I am not alone, though. Also, I woke up this morning (I left my MBP on all night like I normally do)and the Command-Tab function completely disappeared. I had to reboot for that to reappear. I'd say some updates from both Adobe and Apple are forthcoming. Right now, I have a very limited MBP for design work and may need to go back and forth between my MBP and my 2017 iMac.
Hi all, I've been having this problem as well. When I click and drag an object in inDesign, everything goes white. So I think I've got the solution: Go to inDesign Preferences: Interface: Options (at the bottom). At the pulldown menu "Live Screen Drawing", mine said "Delayed". I changed it to "Immediate" and it seems to have fixed that issue. I'm still not sure why it's flashing or going white when I try to drag and select text or objects. Hope that helps with some of the issue, though!

RAM has been an issue for me all weekend, but the most annoying thing I am experiencing at the moment is that double-clicking an .indd file no longer launches the application. Other file types seem to respond find; just INDD is non-responsive.
I can get to the file by launching first and opening through the application UI.

I'm definitely experiencing RAM issues, trying to go back and forth between inD and Illustrator.

Just a heads up; I had copied the "Adobe" folder in Library/Applicationsupport to an external drive, to save space, and replaced it with a symbolic link. This stopped all Adobe installers from working, reporting -46 error. I deleted the symlink and all installers worked again. (Adobe applications were not affected by the symlink thing.)
I'm still on Ventura, but I thought it worth mentioning here. Might help someone.

I have a Macbook Pro M2 Max with 32 GB RAM and Just installed Sonoma with Adobe CS for 2024. InDesign and Illustrator are awful with screen refresh and flickering. InDesign: The entire window goes solid black for a few seconds. No rhyme or reason. It happens merely by clicking on anything. I've turned off rulers, turned on GPU performance, and turned Live Screen Refresh to Immediate. I switched Display Performance to Typical. Nothing is working. Illustrator: click and drag is not smooth and offers no visual refresh. The objects seem to freeze and then jump. Or sometimes don't move at all - even though they will have moved when you let go of the mouse button. I'm downgrading to 2023 versions. This is pathetic considering I'm using a 2023 M2 Max computer, nearly top of the line for a MacBook Pro. UPDATE: I downgraded Illustrator to 2023 and the problem persists. It's a Sonoma issue.

You'll have the same issues with CC 2023, most likely. Most Adobe products are simply not officially compatible with Sonoma yet. And, quite possible, it's actually Apple who has to fix its bugs (at least that's the official position of Adobe).
You can search InDesign forum for "Sonoma" to get more info (unless you already did):

I would say no. Just did some searching and Adobe admits they are having problems with Sonoma. But they are blaming Apple for some of the issues. I've been working on a flyer all day, that should be taking 2 hours. I have to shut down my Apple Studio and restart then launch Illustrator and pray. Until they get some fixes in place try Canva.
I have a Mac Studio M1 and it doesn't play well with this machine and Sonoma 14.2.1. Wasting too much time and still running into walls then restarting, and restarting and restarting. This has been only Illustrator. I haven't had to use Photoshop or Indesign or Dreamweaver today.

All InDesign users who were outraged with Sonoma incompatibility also mentioned that they didn't have any issues with Illustrator and Photoshop. (Which doesn't mean such problems didn't exist but they definitely weren't as widely known as InDesign issues).
