The SONOS app, which is an Intel app, has stopped working on MacOS OS 26.1 and later.
I have tried contacting SONOS but they ignore me for some reason (I have a pair of ERA 300ss, ERA 100, 2 x Roams and a One.). I also have 9 HomePods. I tend to use Airplay for the SONOS speakers but Airplay is unreliable on Mac OS and for the SONOS speakers only I used to use the SONOS app (the SONOS app does not support HomePods, of course) on my MacOS machines.
Anyway, I now get a hard crash when I start the SONOS app and have to Force Quit. This happens on all my MacOS machines (we have 7 of them). The iOS and iPAD OS apps work fine.
Is anyone else having this problem or is it that no-one cares? 😂
