So have any of you experienced this….

I was watching a YouTube video on mg iPad mini, and I moved the iPad to landscape mode, but the YouTube video didn’t fill the entire screen and instead looked like a window on MacOS with the red, yellow, and green buttons on the top left of the YouTube window like they would appear on a Mac (to maximize or minimize the window)…. And I clicked it, and the buttons kind of magnified to select which one I wanted to choose. I can’t replicate it again tho.

I currently have a 6th gen iPad mini on iPadOS 26.6
I was just curious…

That's not a glitch, but a new feature of iOS 26. You can run apps in windowed mode so it looks a lot like macOS. Sounds like maybe you unintentionally put the app in windowed mode as you were rotating the screen.
