Those floating button capsules look absolutely horrendous.
At last, no more distracting Volume and Brightness Indicators when changing them:
Appears that app icons that did not adhere to the square shape (like Spotify or Wireguard which always had round icons) are now automatically wrapped in a square icon:
Wow, they are still updating that thing? Amazing...kudos to Apple
Appears so, but the change is rather subtle with small rounded instead of sharp edges:
Feels a bit sluggish on my M4 Pro MacBook Pro, also the redesign feels too much in the way...
Yeay, yet another kind of warning...
At this point, even Windows Vistas UAC wasn't that annoying 😅
Yeah, I don't like the new design of these dialog windows. Looks odd...
The MacOS version looks worse than on iOS. This is pretty sad. Apple had an opportunity to bring back some character back into the UI but everything is still flat as a pancake.
This looks horrible. Since this is beta, I really hope they rethink this, like they rethought that hideous battery icon few years back
I installed it on a m2 air 8gig... as I wasn't going to put this on my main machine.. I feel the same way.. Hopefully it just indexing etc.
Yeah.. the redesign is honestly distracting..
I really wonder how they designed this.. tested it.. and was like yeah.. this is the right direction for Mac OS.....
That Finder screenshot reminds me of a new developer building a web app for the first time, going crazy with the CSS border radius and drop shadows. And to think they have real designers...
Give it at least a few hours to adjust and index. Things are already getting quicker for me on a M4 Mac mini! 😊
Dark mode is an abomination
Button capsules and sidebars are WAY too bright and highlighted especially on inactive / unfocused windows
Sidebar transparency is far too high, leading to text wash out - an some apps have very strangely placed window controls
Setting tickboxes are very hard too see if not enabled
Delineation lines (eg between groups of settings in settings app) are almost invisible
Poor finder
The launchpad replacement is garbage and doesnt list everything you have installed
Dock app icons are far, far too dark
I could go on and on
