replace the g with a m at the end of link to make link to pkm file like this

download pkm file and open with textedit and u see this:

..."version="25.0.5327.8"...

second number 0,1,2,... is A,B,C,..., fourth number 1,2,3,... is a,b,c,...

so the second number 0 is A and the fourth number 8 is h and so build number is 25A5327h which is beta 5

so your link to the InstallAssistant.pkg is the beta 5 not the beta 6

there is a ipsw for the beta 6 which is https://updates.cdn-apple.com/2025S...A1A0F/UniversalMac_26.0_25A5338b_Restore.ipsw

and u can see there the build for the beta 6 is 25A5338b

there probably will be a beta 6 full installer later but it isn't out yet

EDIT: i noticed the original post has since been edited to say
  • Full Installer (Direct Download) (Pending)
with old link removed

good

we probably have to wait for public beta release (pb3) before there will be a beta 6 full installer. that's what happened last time.

A fix: the Time Machine menu bar icon no longer disappears after a reboot.

A remaining bug: the Shortcut menu bar icon still moves to the beginning of the menu bar after each reboot.

Has Apple tweaked Liquid Glass or Finder design in this release?

I see everyone talking about any slight variation to iOS liquid glass tranparency/translucency/ opacity, but no one says anything about Tahoe. Is translucency still the same, and Finder design still untouched? Or maybe Apple has tweaked it a bit?

Seems the same. Very little of what I have reported has been resolved/addressed.

Seems like there are some details here and there that will be left unaddressed.

I've had an issue with the Photos app in Sequoia that I've reported to Apple on every beta release for nearly a year now. The problem didn't exist in previous versions of macOS and is reproducible on every machine I've tried. I'd be interested to know if anyone running the Tahoe beta could try it out for me? I don't have a machine available at the moment to test Tahoe on myself. Below is the text I wrote to Apple with steps how to reproduce the bug (and some accompanying screenshots).

I have a large image library with many terabytes of images that are kept on an external storage. To organize the files I import them to Photos without moving them from their original location. However, as of macOS 15 Sequoia (and in all updates release thus far, including 15.7 beta 2) sharing these photos to a shared album is no longer possible. The only workaround is to copy the files to the library, for instance by editing them in the Photos app. This bug was not present in macOS Sonoma and versions prior to that. I have tested multiple Macs running different versions of Sequoia (albeit on Apple Silicon only) and have also tried repairing the library to no avail.

The easiest way to reproduce the problem is to:
* Disable “Copy items to the Photos library” in the app’s settings.
* Import a photo, e.g., from the Desktop.
* Attempt to share the photo to a Shared Album.
