Has anyone found a fix to the 'App Store installs over TestFlight builds breaking the apps entirely' thing? 😭

Photo EXIF and IPTC data

I doubt this will bother most people, but starting from this beta the IPTC fields on exporting photos aren't being written correctly.

The photo's title (Object Name) and description (Caption/Abstract) are written correctly to the exported jpeg file for the photos I exported under 26.0 but if I export them again (or any new photos, which of course is how I noticed) then the expected fields are empty.

The information is there, but it's in the "wrong" fields. This has happened before - a couple of years ago or thereabouts - so I know how to write exiftool scripts to fix it, but that shouldn't be necessary.

Edit: The entire IPTC block is missing. Only the XMP data is being written. This also breaks Apple's stock apps, such as Shortcuts which expects the metadata to be in the IPTC block.

Has anyone notice the timestamps in the finder for noon times?

00:10PM? haha

Yes, I reported to Feedback, not sure how long it has been doing that though,

Apple TV App. Go to your movies. tv shows, home videos. Do a search in any of those categories. Once the item is found. Click it once to select it and ATV crashes every single time. I have confirmed this to happen on my wife's MBA M2 15" as well as my iMac M3 24gb 4port Mac.

What do you mean by this? Ublock Origin is free on the App Store.
At the time I checked, it wasn't free. Or maybe it wasn't even there and the ones that did exist weren't free.

Either way, that was only the deal breaker. I wouldn't use it anyway, because I don't really like it. There are better options.

This was happening with 26.0 Official Release, too.

TV app on Mac has no back button after choosing movie or tv show. Keyboard shortcut doesn't work either. Was all good in 26.0. Only "fix" is to quit and restart the app.
Can't understand how that got screwed up.

Anyone else have this bug?

No search field either. And, as per usual, artwork for tv series box sets is a mess.
Adding to this, the App Launcher is blank unless you do a search and delete the search.

Since I updated twice I got this "" Error message "" and from what I saw is something that happens to several users. I'm at 26.0.1 I hope 26.1 It will have it fixed. I never had it happened to me before.

Error Msg:

"Your system has run out of application memory" .. NEVER had this happen in Sequoia!

Now I do get that this is a beta... However, for all the talk of Liquid Glass intelligently adapting to whatever’s behind it, this doesn't inspire much confidence

You're just not thinking different enough.

As is usually the case in screenshots, I don't see anything that makes me think of "liquid glass." 90% of the UI is still just plain old flat like the previous versions since Big Sur, and the parts that have changed are almost unreadable.

V[deo on Safari choppy and difficult to use, including TV app, Netflix, etc. Same websites/videos play fine on Chrome. I keep wanting to use Safari, but I'm starting to think I should switch and save myself the aggrevation.

FYI: On Mac, Netflix will play in 4K only when using Safari. I use Safari strictly for playing Netflix and Brave for everything else.

(Luckily, Safari plays Netflix to an external TV just fine for me.)
