Had no issues with 26. Ran the update and no issues still. The BIG improvement is the Music app. I use it all day in the office and it annoyed me that they removed the ability to see what was playing with the app in mini mode. They thankfully fixed that with the latest version.

Music is still an absolute mess for me. Airplay doesn't reconnect on startup. I added a song to my Up Next list yesterday and it started about a minute into the song.
Also, what is THIS all about? There's a ton of empty space at the top of the screen (where toolbars have always lived) and the playback controls are hidden and mixed in with the track names...this is in 'tinted' mode too!
I've removed the right-most column and still can't lose the horizontal scroll bar. This is a Playlist viewed by song:
Have Apple given up on Music?

For some reason the clipboard history keeps re-activating itself, possibly after rebooting. Anyone else notice this?

"mediaanalysisd" on my 26.1 and now 26.2 has been maxing my CPU at over 200% for weeks now. I was hoping this update would fix it but it didn't.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I have tried force quitting it but it will re-appear after a while and the same issue persists.
I believe I'm also having a similar issue- this would be associated with syncing your files or photos in the Photos app. In my case, I'm going on almost 2 months now trying to get my Photo Library to fully restore, and I'm seeing this spike in Activity Monitor, too.

In my case, I've found that MOST app issues I'm having with macOS 26.2 where things don't sync up are full on iCloud syncing issues. I used an app called Cirrus to see some more details, and found that a BUNCH of folders in my iCloud Drive folder are either "waiting" or "uploading" or just not doing anything at all, and in some cases these folders haven't been updated for a VERY long time- much longer than just recently with 26.2

FWIW, I've filed FB21276231 with Apple for my issue, but you may be able to see if you're having any sync issues with the Cirrus app above.

Growing a little tired of a new Safari bug where it sometimes crashes in Safari::UnifiedFieldCompletionController::sourceFieldFrameInScreenCoordinates() when closing a tab.

Seems like iPhone Mirroring has completely stopped working for me. I've got an M1 MBP on macOS 26.2 and an iPhone 16 Pro Max on iOS 26.2, and am getting this, even after rebooting both the Phone and Laptop--

iPhone Mirroring has always been flaky for me. Sometimes it works great. It does seem to "forget" whatever it needs for the connection from time to time (maybe if I don't use it in a while?) and then requires me to fetch my phone and enter my passcode so that it can pair again. ...Usually when this happens, my phone is out of reach and I have to decide if I want to get up and fetch it. I mean, my phone being out of reach is the main reason that I'd invoke the app at all...

And sometimes, I get stuck in a loop with the iPhone Mirroring app on the Mac telling me to unlock my phone and follow the prompts, but then when I unlock my phone it just immediately tells me that my phone has to be locked for iPhone Mirroring to work. :-\

Interesting! Sounds like it must be only affecting some users. Now to find the common denominator.
After Tahoe 26.2 update, my preview app does not save jpeg size changes. Jpeg file always reverts back to 72dpi when restarting preview and opening the file. Wonʻt even export the jpeg file with dpi changes. Note: there is no preview preference file like older systems.

It seems to work in 26.3 beta 2.
