Not showing as available for me under the AppleSeed Beta, Dev Beta, or Public Beta seeds.

Just showed up for me, too. Didn't have to delete anything.. I'm just outside of Chicago.

Out of interest, why would you delete Rosetta?
The Rosetta package is usually published a little bit after the macOS update goes live. If you have Rosetta installed you might have to wait a little bit longer for the update to show up.

We're talking an hour or two, max. I say, don't bother with trying to delete Rosetta, just be patient.

Ok, I thought so, thanks. I just wait until it shows as there's no desperate rush. Cheers 👍

I'm able to click the x on a Notification to dismiss it in Notification Center / Sidebar, but then I'm having to swipe to close the Notification Center and swipe back to open it again so I'm able to click the x on another one. Rinse & repeat,

New bug in 26.2. When using a Photos wallpaper, the image is low resolution after the 1st sleep wake cycle. Adding a new desktop with the same image, and then deleting it, fixes the issue.

I swear Tahoe has been the biggest POS release of macOS I've ever used, and I've been using OS X since 10.4.

did the update. Froze in the middle and rebooted to restore screen. Lucky I had an external drive I could boot from. Downloaded full installer of Beta 2. I am now running again. Whew!

They have, thankfully, reverted some of the big shadows.

But some places, like the control centre, still have them.
I apologize for offtopic remark but with this default menu bar icon spacing I could not see about half of all my menu bar icons. They seem to have forgotten the effect of the notch to this situation. No wonder people have to resort to icon spacing adjustment tricks and icon hiding apps. Fact that many of these menu bar based apps cannot function properly after evicting from menu bar does not help it either...

This is probably THEE WORST "point 2" update I've had the pleasure of working on in the last 25 or so years of working with Macs.

Is anyone getting a white line over the menu bar with 'show menu bar in background' enabled?

One of the release notes indicates this is fixed, but I'm still having this issue. Both my iPhone 16 Pro Max and M1 MBP on 26.2 RC

  • Fixed: Devices set to "Everyone" on 26.2 beta 1 are not discoverable by devices on 26.2 beta 2. (163636875)

I'm surprised Apple hasn't fixed the issue where apps are staying in the dock after you close them. This must be one of those intentional designs that we don't know we need yet.

how is memory usage compared to 26.1? I know it’s far fetched but hoping it’s better. I still haven’t updated to 26.* on my m4 mini, as memory usage is great with AI disabled on 25.
