After posting this I realized I've started using a Windows machine every now and then when I need to get something done outside of an app. MacOS has developed too many annoyances and weird (but intentional) behaviors that make life a pita. I get the feeling the designers spend their life on social media and don't much use a computer anymore.
There are plenty of people complaining loudly about Windows 11 too.

I run Mac and Windows 11. I'm real close to wiping the hard drive on my W11 machine and installing Linux on it. It seems like each new Windows 11 update just adds more bugs and issues.

I would rather deal with the quirks of MacOS Sequoia than deal with the bugs/issues of Windows 11.

I own several cameras bodies and lenses whose update utilities no longer run on MacOS. Apple drops support and believes I should replace anything that’s no longer compatible. That’s the Apple way. Windows gets the job done. People whine about everything and anything on social media. That’s the world we live in.
