There was a widely reported garbled cursor bug with 26.3 beta 3.
Also quite a number of users complaining about a regression in graphics / game performance in 26.3 beta 3. (1 2 3)
Hopefully both of these are addressed in the RC?

RC not yet available for me

Edit:
Got it now. Downloaded on my M2 Mac Pro and M2 MBA👍🏻 But, the download process was very different. On the Mac Pro, the usual download status bar did not appear. When I prompted the download, the machine immediately shutdown and the screen immediately went black for ten or so minutes then the familiar apple with the status bar appeared. The MBA processed the update in the normal expected way

The "Edit" button for the first post is missing.

Here are the firmware versions, nothing important:

Apple Silicon System Firmware Version ― 13822.81.10
T2 BridgeOS System Firmware Version ― 23.16.13120.0.0

I have to sleep now. 😴 Good "Night"!

I reported the bug in the forum upgrade thread:

A bug for those of us who like scroll bars to be visible all the time.

If a view has several rows of items that pass under a scroll bar the scroll bar track breaks. Here we can see it in the Settings app.

In this example it breaks right in the middle when the row of items increases from 4 to 5.

Seems my Mac survived. 🙃 Nothing special happened.

I have it on 3 Macs, two 7,1 Mac Pros and a M4 Pro Mac Mini.

It fixed the gaming framerate drops (at least for Zwift). The cursor bug is also fixed (that was annoying).

Same here. The already resized one from about 1-2 month ago and all new ones I create now are not resizable anymore.

M4 Pro mini. I just searched with "Find any File" for everything related to Stickies. I'll try tomorrow if deleting any of those files or folders might fix it.

deleting the stickiesdatabase (and anything in this folder: ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Stickies/Data/Library/Stickies

Is anyone else having an issue with .m4a audio files on macOS 26.3 RC? None of my .m4a audio files (non-DRM) are playing - they show the min:sec duration correctly, but will not play. Issue in Safari, QuickTime, QuickLook in Finder, etc and other native Mac apps (excluding VLC).

I tried a few from different sources. They all played normally in QuickTime and Finder.

What kind of Mac do you have?

Spotlight settings refuse to appear after this update

UPDATE: Reboot seemed to fix the issue
