Title: macOS Tahoe 26.4.1 — Apple Notes Table Resizing Bug (Cannot Resize Columns)
Body:
Hi all —
I’m on macOS Tahoe 26.4.1 and noticed what appears to be a regression in Apple Notes involving tables. I have tried many things...
Table columns cannot be resized at all.
Columns should be resizable by dragging or via formatting controls (as in previous macOS versions).
Actual behavior:
Tables are locked in a fixed-width layout with no resizing controls.
System:
Is anyone else seeing this?
Trying to determine whether this is a widespread 26.4.x bug or something specific to my install.
Thanks!

Hi all —
I’m on macOS Tahoe 26.4.1 and noticed what appears to be a regression in Apple Notes involving tables. I have tried many things...
Table columns cannot be resized at all.
- No draggable column handles
- No “wide format” option
- Cursor never changes to the resize indicator
- Columns remain fixed regardless of content
- Create a new note
- Insert a table
- Attempt to drag column borders → nothing happens
- Attempt to adjust via Format menu → no options available
Columns should be resizable by dragging or via formatting controls (as in previous macOS versions).
Actual behavior:
Tables are locked in a fixed-width layout with no resizing controls.
System:
- macOS Tahoe 26.4.1
- Apple Notes (built‑in)
- Reproducible on multiple notes
