Yeah and that minor issue is surely something that will never be addressed throughout the entire beta. They clearly don't care about legibility lol , just look at the whole design

Hello windows 11 !They removed Compact tab and Launchpadpure functional downgrade.
I think my biggest hang-up with it is that I really really prefer the frosted glass look to the new clear glass look. It creates much smoother gradients that are pleasing to me. If I could just toggle that, I'd be a happy camperI must be in the minority because I like the new look for the most part.
I’ll also get a good laugh in 10 years when I see people complain about the next visual change and start praising this one.
What, in the name of actual Flip, is the benefit of doing this, that overrides having clearly legible toolbar controls?
Spending too much time with the "Crack Marketing team"Tahoe stands for The Actually Heinously Obnoxious Edition... or what.
what the actual hell happened to Apple's UI design team? were they all out smoking crack or were they all just fired and they got the programmers to "do a search on Google and pick something cool"...
Having seen many major and minor issues sail through betas without being addressed...Yeah and that minor issue is surely something that will never be addressed throughout the entire beta.
They need a 'turn off transparency completely because it makes for a harder to read interface in every situation' button.WWDC 2025 was the best one in the recent years. I really love the new liquid glass UI but they need to fix “Reduce Transparency” for those are not happy with the new look
I kind of agree. That was the pinacle of MacOS and Apple in general. After that is when we started seeing more and more useless features that end up slowing down productivity in many ways.If they re-release Snow Leopard with the new version number, and updated security fixes, it would be much better. Everything smooth, no bloat, and even the GUI was beautiful back then.
Because iOS7 DID make a mess of things. Change for the sake of change, and no, I don't think it was an improvement. All of the gimmicky stuff just makes the devices harder and harder to use. Just pay attention to how much people struggle figuring things out.I guess history does repeat itself because this is exactly what people including me said when they announced iOS 7, I guess let’s sit aside and let them do their job?![]()
It’s sarcasmGio, please clear that up for us!
I read your comment three times and still couldn't figure out — for sure — whether you were serious or sarcastic! Ben's comic captured the confusion well.
Gio, your post sounded sarcastic — in the sense that you dissing the seriousness of concerns over legibility — and asserting that no doubt such a “minor” issue would be addressed during beta development!
For many of us, illegibility due to colors shining through and background text being translucent and dirtying up the display is a *major* concern.
And, it seems Apple is so committed to its “Glass” look, that one figures they're unlikely to address it!
Do you know for certain that the clipboard history is accessible on iOS/iPadOS? I've only see Apple demo the clipboard history on macOS. It is possible the Mac can access Universal Clipboard, but that iOS/iPadOS do not have the feature.universal clipboard is a feature that has been around - copy something on your mac and you can paste it on your iphone, and vice-versa.
your clipboard is "universal" across all of your apple devices.
clipboard history is just that - copy something and it is in history. you can go back in time and retrieve that line of text you copied 3 hours ago.
making clipboard history available with universal clipboard means you'll be able to see everything you copied to the clipboard on all of your devices backwards in time from any other device.
I haven't found a way to open any clipboard history on iPadOS. I did find out that text copied from my iPad eventually showed up in my MacOS clipboard history, but it seems like the entire MacOS history feature is being really finicky. Like, I've copied and pasted a few things and they still aren't in my history. I don't know what I am doing wrong.Do you know for certain that the clipboard history is accessible on iOS/iPadOS? - Finder icon – Apple has flipped the color of the classic Finder icon in Tahoe. The blue is now on the right side of the face instead of the left, and it has been given a glassy cast in the Liquid Glass style.
