Has anyone tested beta 2?

I'm trying to find out where the setting even is!
looks like we don't need to enable anything?

No setup required

Just put your devices next to each other and move your cursor seamlessly between them.

Both devices must be signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID using two-factor authentication. To use wirelessly, both devices must have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Handoff turned on and must be within 10 meters (30 feet) of each other. iPad and Mac must not be sharing a cellular and internet connection. To use over USB, you must trust your Mac on the iPad.

I tried with my MacBook Air M1 and the iPad Pro 4th gen, does not work both on OS 15.0, just to keep everybody informed! Perhaps downloaded the public beta just to use this function. Strongly disappointed to say the least :(

I have Monterey installed on my MBA M1 and iPadOS 15 on my iPad Pro 12.9 3rd Gen and Universal Control is not working.

I can confirm it is not working for me either. iPadPro 2021 and a MacBook Pro 16" (intel) 2019.
Everything is setup right but, not working.

For those of us who've been in the dev betas slightly longer: is not present/enable in any of the current betas. I had the same question after first installing and other members of the community confirmed it is coming later (can't remember the sources now.)

Patience. Still, hoping 🤞 next beta adds it.

In the meantime you can experiment with your mac as being an AirPlay receiver and using it as an extended display. That's pretty neat too! I think the two features (AirPlay and U.C.) will work well together.

I currently also can not get it working. I have an m1 MacBook Pro and an m1 13" iPad Pro.....Doesn't work! This was something I was really looking forward to.

I have a feeling that it won't be enabled intil MacOS Monterey is released to the public since MacOS 12 Monterey betas are behind since mainly everything else is like on Beta 9, but MacOS 12 Monterey is only on Beta 6

How hard would it be for Apple to just communicate with all of those helping THEM out by Beta testing THEIR software and update on what should and shouldn't be working and when it will be working? The current set-up is just amateurish and wasting everybody's time.
