Thanks for starting these threads.
Yeah, no problem.

I currently can't get any info because I am having this issue.

I deleted my old macOS beta volume and feel more comfortable installing betas on my main volume. Don't have anything important to lose so...

Hopefully I can get this fixed.

I don't know what the "Developer Beta Access Utility" is. I do things the simple way - I take my one-and-only macbook, and install the beta on it, ignoring all the "use this device for testing beta stuff only!!!!" messages that appear. Same for iOS.

I've not had any show-stoppers for a few years now *touch cheap Ikea laminate*

It's the utility from Apples developer website that gives you the betas.

I also do this with my iPhone and iPad. For a while, I did it with my Mac, but had a major issue with Ventura Beta 5, so I ended up having to reinstall macOS, so I dual booted Monterey and Ventura. I feel comfortable installing betas on my main volume now but the error on the utility wouldn't let me.

Since the last update my Calendar is not opening and the last entries done through the computer are not synch with the phone... any idea on what to do?

Does anyone know why these "Scheduled events" keeps appearing everyday?

The "Open with:" submenu of the Finder's File->Get Info window doesn't seem to be working in 13.1 b1 (22C5033e). It's not possible to change the target application for the file.

You can still open the file in an application other than the default using the 'Open with' contextual menu that you get by Ctrl-clicking on the file.

Further to my early message regarding the 'File -> Get Info-> Open With ...' menu not working in 13.1 b1, my FB has now been updated to 'Similar reports - less than 10' and 'Potential Fix identified - for a future os update'.

Hopefully, this will be in 13.1 b2 whenever it arrives.

Alright, update: I am now able to install Ventura 13.1 on a separate volume. Idk why it didn't let me install betas on my main one which was weird...
Just wondering if it was due to problem with APFS volumes from earlier OS releases appearing to cause some problems in Ventura.
I had multiple volumes which would not appear on Desktop or in Finder sidebar if they had been created prior to Ventura install. Erase and re-load volumes and now all are visible on Desktop and Finder sidebar, so maybe some subtle incompatibility with APFS volume caused your problem.

Does this come with a fix for Safari 16 so that it no longer blocks the option to use 3D in Google Maps satellite view? This has been an issue ever since 16 dropped whether running it in Monterey or Ventura.

I believe I saw this reported in Webkit, and is marked as fixed in 16.1.

Anyone have a "feel" (or inside info) as to when OS 13.1 will be released? I am "itching" to test Ventura, and want to start that process with V13.1.

I would say it would come out December 12, 2022.
Yuk! 5 more weeks. Oh well, just need to be patient, I guess.

If it is that "late", just hope it is stable enough (and has few, if any, minor bugs). If not, V13.2 could take longer.

No, the first 13.1 Beta was issued on 10/27 and I have been using it since initial release. I don't believe is will take over a month for full release of a point version.

Indeed it is....but with a catch; it still isn't refreshing very reliably, occasionally blacking out altogether, more commonly just not refreshing on resolution changes. Google Chrome still works much better for this.

The item Apple really needs to fix, no matter which OS version, is their ASR (Apple System Restore) routine. It is what is causing fits for both Carbon Copy Cloner and SuperDuper! regarding the replication of the System Volume. I know both Bombich Software and Shirt Pocket Software have "complained" to Apple for quite a while about this issue.
