I hope they fixed BlueTooth on Mac Studio. It's a disaster with more than a couple of devices connected.

--> nope. Still crackling and interruptions unless I wire the "magic" keyboard and track pad.

I'm really hoping "Applescripts to check calendar event alerts don't work" is fixed, so I can go back to automating my event alarms/alerts.

I'll update this post (and the wiki) once I've upgraded and my poor Intel MBA has stopped melting and finished the "Preparing" phase.

....... Nope. Still broken.

Can anyone tell me if Apple fixed the pinned-tab Safari bug?

1. Pin a few tabs
2. Open two Safari windows with about ten tabs each (loose tabs)
3. Select Windows > Merge All Windows

If the tabs disappear, the bug is still active

Another bug is if you pin tabs, quit Safari, and open Safari again, the pinned tabs are no longer pinned but regular tabs (that you will now lose if you quit Safari again) [EDIT: although this particular second bug isn't happening for me at the moment, I've had it happen for the last several weeks—the first bug is still active 100%]

It all works seamlessly and does not do this for me. I did this about 5 times and the tabs did not disappear.

Excited for macOS 13.1 on Monday?

Are you kidding me? THANK YOU for checking on my behalf! You're awesome.

Yeah I'm excited. As a pinned-tab whore I can finally relax my anxieties come Monday.

What has been stopping you and I can let you know.
Sorry for the delay.

- I’ve seen some issues with Ventura regarding Apple app memory leaks (FCP, Logic, Safari).
- I’ve heard a few stories of Ventura itself crashing resulting in OS Reinstalls
- issues with monitor support
- GPU issue with M1 Max (MBP/Mac Studio)

As it's unlikely Apple are going to fix my bugs (I still have open ones from Monterey - they're quite happy to release MacOS and iOS versions with known bugs nowadays), I've been experimenting with workarounds.
  • British keyboard icon in menu bar is wrong - shows as [A]
The fix for this one is to add more than one keyboard (non-Asian it seems, as I also have Chinese keyboards) after which the [A] changes correctly to [GB]. It's not just GB that changes to A; the US ones, German ones, French ones etc do the same unless more than one keyboard is defined
  • Applescripts to check calendar event alerts don't work
Despite the fact the events have "sound alarms" set, either manually or via Applescript, searching for them fails. However, searching for "display alarm" finds them, even though they're not display alarms. This bug came with one of the first Ventura betas and I expect it'll go live like this. I have an Applescript which Monterey broke (searching Mail for offline accounts) and has yet to be fixed.
