If the Apple is so insisting on making iOS and macOS as similar as possible, why not give us the functional weather app like the one on iOS?

No humidity, no wind speed, no "feels like" temperature, it is very basic.

Setting widget size to large just zooms in everything, no new information is added to all that extra space.

Anyone who wants real weather app on their Mac has to resort to 3rd party solutions, and most of them are paid (I found only one weather app that is ok in functionality, it is freemium though, some features are behind the paywall and that is ok).

The Weather app in Ventura is pretty good (not the widget though, but no one I know uses them on MacOS).

That does indeed look better, but it as an app that you have to launch to get information, right? The good thing about weather widget is that it takes one click on menu bar to look at it. Very nice if you just want a quick glance, and then put it away.

I mean you can display quite a bit of information in widget. Just look at the iOS app.
