MacPro 2.8 Random Shutdown

    There was a random shutdown of my 2.8Ghz MacPro, no grey-screen kernal panic, it fully shut down, without any warning, was listening to itunes and the music stopped, the screen went black and then it shut down randomly.

    This is the first time its ever done this...not sure why.

    all my memory shows up in System Preferences, AppleHardware test doesnt show anything obscure.

    I only have a 30" Acd connected, apple keyboard, kensington mouse, and is connected via WiFi,
    I have nothing else plugged in at the time of the incident.
    no applications running other than Firefox, itunes and VLC.

    I pray to god those are the temps in F!!!!

    If not Your really really on the verge of frying everything. SHUT DOWN ASAP and let it cool off.

    Yeah hopefully they are!
    also by reading it, some of the memory temps are higher...might want to try a few instances of changing out the added memory, with the stock config and some by itself with the new memory, run some metests and run from a back up.

    see if it solves something. could be a bad cache/corrupt cache as well.
