Hi all,
have an old macpro 2006 for a while which I mainly use for video rendering. during a moment of boredom I recently upgraded with a pair of 5365's, it has El Capitan ( pikes installer) and a 1ghz radeon 5770.

I have ran geekbench and am a little bit disappointed with an overall score of 7643 ( 1816 single core).

doing a geekbench search all the other scores for the same system are between 10200 and 11700.

http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench2/search?q=X5365

Can someone please explain the huge difference in the scores .

Cheers
Steve ( in a very wet North Wales)

Hey Steve, I suspect you ran Geekbench 4 on your Mac?
The results you're referring to are GB 2. GB 3 results are even better, 12k for multicore.

Hi.
Thanks for the info, yes I ran GB3 and it was 10868, makes it a little bit more worth it now !!!!!

Thanks

You probably ran GB3 in 32 bit mode, 64 bit (paid) would give you even better result, so no need to worry. Your X5365s are doing fine. 🙂
