Have an old Mac Pro 3.1 and want to replace 3 framework files but can only change one.

Trying to fix a perpetual copy of C4D R20 which no longer opens ( used to work fine until an iPhone update ) . Remedy online I saw was, replace these 3 framework files, only I can’t boot into recovery mode of any kind, just single user mode which doesn’t help.

Is there any workaround for disabling sip?

Files are in PrivateFrameworks
AirTrafficHost
DeviceLink
MobileDevice

Have earlier copies for all 3 files

CMD + Option + R combo is for Internet Recovery, which is not available with Mac Pros before the MacPro6,1.

CMD + R is what you need to go to normal Recovery. You can also try the NVRAM entry below:

Code:
sudo nvram internet-recovery-mode=RecoveryModeDisk
