A quick question and before you ask, Yes I have just mailed Mackie about this.

I have just bought a pair of Bluetooth CR5BT for my mac - Are they apt-x compatible as I believe from the web they are although Mackie and their manual don't mention it as when I use this guide

    http://www.theghostbit.com/2015/03/forc ... -your.html

I can't seem to get my MacPro 5,1 using Yosemite to use the apt-x - Any thoughts ? I generally use them thru my firewire interface but thought it would be nice if they would support this BT connection.

How do you know if it is using Apt-X or not? Is there some sort of indicator?

check the 'audio graphs' function on bluetooth explorer (xcode extra app), it will say if you are using aptx, sbc, hfp

you can also change some parameters like 'force aptx' in the 'audio options' in the same app.

    cheers
