Ditch those 2.26s (worth upwards of $3 on Ebay) and get some 3.46 GHZ (either 4 core or 6).

The price has plummeted to affordable levels as Win servers get scrapped.

I have a guy returning a Titan-X, he doesn't understand why it didn't make his 2.4 Ghz machine a speed demon.

Start with PCIE SSD, then CPUs, then GPU.
