Macpro & Parallels 7

Hello

Do not how many here use Parallels on their Mac but I have a small problem.

I installed Parallels 7 and Windows 7, I have Windows running in Coherence mode. Now when I run Parallels I loose the use of one of my CD drives.

Any ideas anybody, other then use Bootcamp ?

In Parallels there should be an option to disconnect the CD/DVD drive.

I use VMWare Fusion, and it has the same functionality, but I can't post a screenshot or link you to the proper guide, maybe have a look at the Parallels HELP menu.

Many than ks for that my Parallels 7 preferences are slightly different to you picture but I found what I needed, both drives now working, many many thanks 🙂
