Macpro1,1 5770 - 3 Displays in Lion?

I have a Macpro1,1 with a flashed Powercolor HD5770 card. I currently run 3 displays off of it:

1) DVI -> VGA (so that I get the boot screen)
2) DVI -> DVI
3) DP -> active dual link adapter -> DVI

This runs great on 10.6.7 but in 10.6.8 and 10.7.0 Lion, Apple changed something that caused my DP output to stop working. So I am stuck at 10.6.7 at the moment.

My question is... is there anyone running the official Apple 5770 in a Macpro1,1 that is running 3 displays in Lion? I don't want to invest in the Apple 5770 if it will not get me 3 displays in the end.

Netkas reports that 11c37 beta of 10.7.2 carries fix for this issue.
