So, my iBook has been extremely quirky lately, which ultimately led to my re-installing Panther. Things are much better, except Macromedia Studio will not open now. If I try to open fireworks, dreamweaver, or freehand, it bounces a couple of times in the dock and then disappears again. I've tried re-installing, zapped the pram, repaired permissions, deleted prefs files, run fsck, etc. but nothing works.
Thanks to anyone who's willing to take a stab at my issues.

When you reinstalled Studio, did you delete all preference and library files as well before relaunching?

oops..just noticed that you did

can't think of anything else at the moment that you would need to try

try calling macromedia and telling them Studio MX is a bug ridden POS. :D

Fireworks alone should have never made it out of beta with all the crap you have to put up with.

If it's Studio MX 2004, go get the fix from the web site's support area to reset the authentication.

Hmm...I've never had a problem with Fireworks....the rest of them yes, but not fireworks.
