    It means you've donated $25 to Macrumors. You get a custom title and access to a contributor's forum, afaik.

    i know im bringing this back and it doesn't have to do exactly with the title but i didn't want to start a new thread. Under user titles under the FAQ link it says G5 then etc. what is after G5 since apple started using intel after the G5. just curious to know.

    strangely enough the answer to your question lies directly in this thread...see the How do user titles work link above? Looks like G5 is the end of the road.

    Currently there is only 1 poster with over 30,000 posts and he is no longer active

    If and when users reach and exceed that threshold, I am sure the Admins of the site will create User Titles to reflect that achievement and the current line of Apple products appropriately. At this time, there is no need for such distinction.

    cool thanks. that was exactly what i was wondering. i guess it would be cool to be a core 2 duo :D
