Klasma, same here!

In lieu of that, a digital camera with good zoom (20-40x) handheld works nicely in capturing the birds.

Alternatively, put it on a small camera or video tripod — or prop it on a window sill on a mini-tripod — and operate it remotely from the iPad via a Canon or Panasonic camera app works quite well!

The iPad displays the camera's view, and the app gives you control over the zoom, exposure, aperture, video, etc. all from the comfort of your living room couch!

Quite spiffy — and without any subscription!

Via my Apple Watch I control my new iPhone mounted on a sturdy tripod to capture high-speed video of birds at their beloved feeding site. This setup allows for editing the footage in ultra-slow motion, revealing the birds' calm and agile movements to align with the slower perception of our stimuli.

Without subscription,
without plastic,
an intelligent free enjoyment with Mother Nature.

Watch out for those Aqara locks - there is no recovery if you forget the admin password. Or if you buy a house with an Aqara lock where the former owner doesn't remember/won't give you the old admin password. There is no way to reset the admin password, and without it you can't add new phones to the smart lock. This also means you shouldn't buy a used Aqara lock - because if it doesn't come with the admin password, it simply won't work.

The 3D printers interest me but I haven’t done enough research yet. I bought some 3D printed some clamps for my AIO cooling tubes on my gaming rig, and constantly think of things I could make. For instance, a yubikey shunt that makes it fit my orbitkey
