Eh, mad jew'll probably get the next ranking next week. :D

According to Think Secret (I know, they have been dubious of late), Mad Jew will be granted the exclusive 666 ranking as he is evil.

Okay, so 602 is not a status.

Well mad jew, I'll let you find out for me:D When you reach Merom status, I think you should take a break, and give me a chance to reach 1000 posts.

You guys don't have to tell what is above 604 if you don't want to, but please tell me, is the rank above that created (if you know), and does anybody else than arn know what is above? :D

But really, how accurate is Think Secret? They have been wrong before, maybe they will be wrong with this predicition. ;) :)

Why bicker about what's coming next when you can just find out for yourselves...

*Clicks reply* :p

Josias, I hit 603 at 10,000 posts, as WildCowboy said. mkrishnan has just recently joined the very exclusive 603 club. :)

MJ, donate to the site and become a demi god. You should.Oh, and stop spamming.

Yes, the ranks have already been created, a long time ago...

How do you know he hasn't already and simply decided to keep his processor ranking? I was seriously debating it myself when I contributed. Obviously you're not aware of the concept of a Stealth Demi... :p  ...or a Stealth Mod...

While being a contributor/demi-god can be a noble thing to do, mj contributes in a way that many others do not - providing good technical advice and helping to solve members' problems.

Sure, some of his posts are inane and trivial (same for all of us), but in general, he's quite helpful, and I think many of us appreciate that, even if he isn't a "Demi-God".

Do you know them? And if so, are you willing to inform us about your little secret?:D

In the future, all post counts will be referred to as fractional MJs. Much like substituting Mach values for speed.

An MJ = 37 posts per day.

My current posting rate is .24MJ.

Much like Mach speeds, if anyone actually breaks the 1MJ barrier, we will indeed hear a loud noise, which will likely be the universe collapsing in on itself.

I remember back in the day when MJ was a only a 6502. I have even been here longer then MJ........WOW

In that case, I can think of a certain someone that has been hitting almost 2 MJs per day recently.

Wasnt there a 604 Mach 5 or something? The final 604, and the only 604 produced during the G3 era? *almost* reaching the speed of a G3?

Interesting concept, but I can see how we will need to adopt that system out of necessity as Mad Jew's post count continues to rise. ;) :D

It will be a scary day when someone hits Intel Core Duo. At my rate, it will take me 40 year:D

Yeah me too! I have been a member since 2002 and I am just now getting ready to reach 1000. I wish I had the time to sit here for hours at a time and post, must be nice;)

I seem to have recently been posting at less than 1MJ per day though...

*Head explodes*

:D
That is, of course, the fatal flaw in the system - the MJ is a variable that needs to constantly be recalculated.

Well you shouldn't be posting on a diet of only 239 Calories/day. You should be eating...

I'm ready for someone to hit Core 2 Duo...hop to it boys!

Do all Demi-gods know 604+ rankings, or is it Old Skool members from pre 2003 that have been told. If number 1., you could find out for $25:p j/k:D

68010

WildCowboy said:
I don't think the 68010 was used either except for aftermarket upgrades, as computer manufacturers held out until the 68020 was ready soon after.

I believe the 68010 was used in some HP Laserjets. It was never used in a Mac. The 68020 was used in many Macs! I had an original Mac LC (pizza box) with 68020 and the added FPU to go with it!!

Just to add to the general discussion, there was also a PowerPC 620 which was a 64-bit cpu. It was never used in any Macs. I don't even know if it ever got to full-scale production.
