MacRumors chill with the ads on homepage

As a long time member, I for the first time don’t enjoy reading news on MacRumors there are far too many large banner ads throughout the website causing more distraction. I understand that it is a major source of revenue for the website but surely there is a happy medium?

You could always support the site by becoming a paid member and never see another ad.

or you could use a browser adblocker, safaris 'hide distracting items' or something like a pihole to solve this as well.
