Would anyone be interested in a macrumors firefox extension?

I wouldn't be able to make it, but I was thinking it would might pop up a message when a new page 1 rumor/news thread was posted by arn/moderator.
The message might pop up for a couple seconds, then show a number of how many new page 1 rumors you haven't visited yet...

what do you think? Again, if anyone wants to code it, feel free cause i can't.

John.

People can use a "live bookmark" in the Firefox bookmarks toolbar, with RSS address
https://www.macrumors.com/macrumors.xml
It won't pop-up as your suggested extension would do, but it will give them all of the recent MacRumors headlines in a drop-down list.

For Safari, they can put the MacRumors RSS feed in the Bookmarks Bar, and it will display the count of unread new articles.

That's what RSS is for.
