Sure. I'm not trying to turn a fun thread into a PRSI thread though.
I'm Jewish.... I remember, when I was a kid, another non-Jewish kid asked me about my horns. I also remember, while at my Hebrew elementary school, we were learning about racism/bigotry/anti-semitism, and one of the videos we watched was an episode of Little House on The Prairie, in which the kids were scared of the only Jewish resident in the area (because they thought he had horns under his hat).
It's a myth that people actually believe/used to believe.... I can see that I really was making a bad joke about something I thought was common knowledge. It's good to see that it's not as common knowledge as I figured it was.

What is strange in all the PM's I have engaged in over ten years, nobody really called me by my real name, even though I told them. They still call me jef, or at the very least '63 or Dot. Our handles stick more than our names unless your handle is your name like popular poster leekohler, or just Lee.

This is a topic of controversy for me, I was given the nickname "Buddy" in High School and even to this day most of my friends call me by that name. My real name is Eric, and in my professional life I am known by that name ( or in reality my last name alone ). So when my two worlds converge, it creates some interesting interactions.
