I have a mid 2011 13" Mackbook Pro. I am running 0S X El Capitan. The thing is I need to use iMovie to work on my vlog. Where and how can i get an older and compatible version of iMovie?

I don't think that link will help at all. It just directs you this Apple page, which is just a series of iMovie updates and not the complete application.

To ask the obvious, have you logged into the App Store? Login, the in the Purchase area you should see it.
Which version of iMovie did you use to have and when did you notice that it had disappeared?
Early versions of iMovie was intuitive and easy to use....then because is was not broken...Apple Cupertino Geeks decided to fix it...now...you need a 4 hour class to figure out how to use it.
