For this week's giveaway, Pad & Quill is generously offering a package of accessories with a total retail value of over $600 for one lucky winner.

This prize package includes the company's Large Briefcase that can accommodate up to a 15-inch laptop and features full-grain American cowhide leather, parachute-grade nylon stitching, and a 25-year warranty. The Large Briefcase retails for $365 and is available in several color combinations.

Pretty sure it's not that MR is obsessed with P&Q, but that P&Q is obsessed with MR... P&Q offers this contest, not MacRumors.

Pad & Quill seems to think MacRumors user base is likely to purchase their products, so does this as a form of advertising.

While I like the look of their products, they are way outside my price range for such items. (I'm still using a laptop case I bought in 2006 for $50 to fit my first-generation MacBook Pro. The case before that was from 1999, bought to fit my subnotebook, that later fit my 12" PowerBook G4 perfectly.)

That said, while I like their products, winning this contest is the only way I'll ever own them.
