For this week's giveaway, we've teamed up with WaterField Designs to offer MacRumors readers a chance to win an awesome organizational setup for Apple devices that includes a Hitch Crossbody Laptop Brief, Tech Pocket, and Gear Pouch.

The Hitch Crossbody Brief is a vertical briefcase that comes in either full ($259) or compact ($249) size options. The compact version of the Laptop Brief is designed to fit a MacBook Air or an iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard (or similarly sized devices), while the full is designed to fit devices similar in size to the 16-inch MacBook Pro, which is Apple's largest notebook computer.

Available in either black ballistic or brown waxed canvas with full-grain leather accents, the Crossbody Brief is durable and designed to hold up well for years to come.

There are two built-in padded pockets lined with soft fabric to keep your devices safe, along with organizational pockets and a key hook to keep smaller accessories and devices organized. There's a front pocket that's meant to keep bulky items from bulging out, and the gold liner makes it easy to find items inside.

The Crossbody Brief can be worn as a crossbody bag as the name suggests, or held in the hand to serve as a vertical briefcase. The vertical construction is designed to evenly distribute weight to make it comfortable to carry, and when worn on the shoulder, there's an adjustable Supreme Suspension Strap.

The bag is weather resistant and it includes YKK zippers to keep water out, and when used with a luggage set, it can be placed over the handle of a suitcase with the passthrough back pocket.

Along with the Hitch Crossbody Laptop Brief, WaterField's Tech Pocket and Gear Pouch add-ons offer even more organizational options. The Gear Pouch, available in three sizes and multiple colors (starting at $39), is designed to keep all your cords, dongles, power adapters, and other small odds and ends together so they don't get lost in your bag.

There are multiple internal pockets to keep things neatly organized, along with a zip outer pocket and a main middle compartment for larger accessories. The Gear Pouch's compact design is meant to make it easy to fit inside other bags, and the three-quarter zipper lets you get to what you need fast.

The Tech Pocket, priced at $49, is similar to the Gear Pouch, but instead of a top zipper, there's a magnetic closure for those who prefer an accessory bag that's easier to get into.

Sized to hold dongles, adapters, earbuds, an iPhone, and more, the Tech Pocket is smaller and more compact. It has a soft, plush lining to keep your gear from getting scratched, and there's a quick access zippered front pocket for things like keys.

We have one Hitch Crossbody Laptop Brief, Tech Pocket, and Gear Pouch setup to give away to a lucky MacRumors reader. To enter to win our giveaway, use the Gleam.io widget below and enter an email address. Email addresses will be used solely for contact purposes to reach the winners and send the prizes. You can earn additional entries by subscribing to our weekly newsletter, subscribing to our YouTube channel, following us on Twitter, following us on Instagram, or visiting the MacRumors Facebook page.

Due to the complexities of international laws regarding giveaways, only U.S. residents who are 18 years or older and Canadian residents (excluding Quebec) who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory are eligible to enter. It’s nice. But I have come to wonder does anyone actually win anything? I mean most entry type contests like this there’s a winner announced. MacRumors has their bags and these contests all the time. They should state username of winner. Otherwise, truly makes me think there’s something fishy going on here.

They don't release the winners for privacy reasons. And if it means anything to you, I won a Satechi keyboard in one of their giveaways a while back. Besides, if MacRumors was going to be dishonest, they could just make up random names for winners anyway.

But I have come to wonder does anyone actually win anything?

I have not searched recently, but last time I did I came up with this list. If it fairly common to see members mention in threads like this they have won before.

I've seen posts in these threads where forum members mentioned they have won in these contests and received their prize.

Edit: Here are a few comments I was able to find.

People definitely win! I put a lot of work into the giveaways every week. Setting them up with different companies, writing the articles, collecting winner info, getting prizes sent out, etc. Not sure what we would get out of not sending prizes, the whole reason we put the work in is to get stuff to readers.

I prefer to keep as much info private as I can for winners (and entrants), and thankfully I don't need to share names because some of the giveaway winners have been kind enough to let people know that our giveaways are legitimate when questions like this come up.

The Tech Pocket is much better than the Gear Pouch.

The former was designed with community input. The latter is a much older design. The Gear Pouch doesn't have a lot of workable width. It can't hold much more than cords and TicTac boxes.

The Tech Pocket can hold slightly chunkier items: AirPods, portable battery, etc.

Anyway MacRumors could have excluded the Gear Pouch. The Hitch with its internal pockets together with the Tech Pocket are more than enough for the average IT worker.

I‘m not in the market but it’s an attractive bag. I could do with less Mike Lindell hand wagging but would consider it.

This looks very interesting. I have a 15 inch Mac - I wonder if I can squeeze it into the small or require the larger one. I would prefer the smaller one. I guess I'll see.

The laptop sleeve of the compact size Hitch can fit only up to a 13" laptop, unfortunately. However a larger laptop may fit snuggly in the main compartment area. If you cover your Mac in a shell case then you don't really need the laptop sleeve anyway.

You can ask the staff at Waterfield Designs in you are unsure. They are very friendly and knowledgable.

I can vouch for this company as a repeat customer. Quality stuff made in San Francisco that looks stylish and lasts. They also have great customer service. For me it started small with a nice carrying case for my Nintendo DS and PS Vita years, and years ago. They're still in great shape. Most recently, a couple of weeks ago I bought a case for my iPad Pro and Nintendo Switch. I had emailed them about a carrying case/bag and whether or not an iPad Pro with new magic keyboard would fit. Got an answer within the hour, really fast. Now to try my luck for this bag! :D

Two-time winner here. Both from Choetech (1/20 wireless chargers, 1/30 car chargers) in 2018 about 6/7 months apart. Would love to win again, but doubt I'm that lucky. Of course, I enter every contest because one never knows.

Did my ears deceive me? Did he say “new 14” MacBook Pro” in the video when mentioning what size laptops will fit into the smaller one? I watched it twice, and he clearly says “new 14” MacBook Pro”.

There stuff is great! Not sucking up. I own several of their products. Well designed and well made. I just got their Air Caddy. I’ll be posting a personal review tomorrow. A great way to carry my iPad Pro and empty my pockets for day to day carry.

Edit:

If your interested here is the link to my mini-review of the Air Caddy I mention above.

260 bucks?! Get out of here with that nonsense. I got an off brand bag that looks almost identical to this with excellent build quality off amazon for 60 bucks a year ago. Fits my iPad and 13” MBP and has survived several thousand miles of air travel. The only difference I can see after watching that video is mine doesn’t have the waterproof zipper but seeing how it survived my 3 mile trek through a proverbial monsoon the last time I was in Chicago while managing to keep my MacBook, iPad and iPhone all completely dry I don’t imagine that is a huge loss. I’m sure this thing is nicer than my bag, but not 200 bucks nicer.

I hope you didn't use up all your lifetime luck :).

I have been entering most of the give aways since MacRumors started them but I don't expect to ever win because of the amount of entries.

I'm all in favor of MacRumors not publishing the winner names.

The thing for me is these aren’t real names here. They’re usernames. That’s why I wonder. All the time on YouTube people win things and they post the username. I won something that way but even if I don’t win I see oh someone won. I just don’t like that nobody ever knows. But at least a few people came through.

My username is my name. I see other websites post the names of winners and people still either think they're insiders or fake winners. And some times the winners are savaged in the comments, or even harassed. Mac Rumors (and the product sponsors) probably can live without being a party to the latter behavior.
