Won't matter, Apple consumers will still buy it. Price doesn't matter much for this demographic.

We (MacRumors readers) are that demographic, and the price apparently does matter. It's easy to stereotype Apple customers as price insensitive, but then remember that you and the person you replied to are, presumably, Apple customers. Do you still think they don't care about price?

MacRumors probably should have a winners gallery or something similar where winners can volunteer a pic of the prize -- I'd suggest MR include a banner that winners could include in the pic. Losers will always whine about contests being "fishy" because they've not won. Haven't won anything here, but have elsewhere and it's the same complaint, even with winners posting pics.

I got one when first launched and its great, so compact and can't get damaged like long std cables
