I love the idea but the design in the plastic for the frames looks cheap, reminds me of the glasses from the movie theater. I would want to see reviews before I pop down $225 for them.
They look as cheap as a set of Ray Ban Justin's (see below) which are okay glasses tbh, if you like like the big lens look, but they definitely have that Ray Ban look to them. No good to me as I need prescription glasses. Also I can nip to my optician and get new lenses put in mine where as with with these you cant and I don't like wearing contact lenses just to wear sunglasses.

I don't like transition lenses either, which have a limited life span and can end up with a permanent tint, this idea just seems like a bit of a gimmick with to much to go wrong because electronics hates heat and sunglasses which are black will absorb heat, I would prefer separate sunglasses or for myself prescription sunglasses rather than something like this tbh. Also I cant quite see how they could put prisms in them for people with diplopia.

poor iteration imo, still waiting for a full screen helmet with adjustable tint levels, microphone and surround speakers, climate control, HEPA filter, and rear cameras
There are helmets with built in sunglasses that slide down when you need them. They also have microphones and speakers. Rear cameras? That’s why you got mirrors on your bike. HEPA filter? Useless if the helmet is not fully sealed around your neck lika a diver.

Sounds like a flight helmet. Years ago, a buddy of mine and I went on a road trip. We decided to drive with our flight helmets on, including the oxygen mask. Freaked out the other drivers, to say the least.

Not really sure why they want to eliminate like 50% of possible buyers by not offering prescription lenses.

Seems set to fail from the start.

ummm… maybe because the remaining 50% of people is still quite a lot? can companies only produce products that are suitable for single person on earth now?

They’ve even talked about doing prescription lenses in time if they get enough backing.
