Why can't somebody (hello Apple...) make something like this that is top quality with no corners cut?

Looks really nice with devices on it, kinda ugly without them though. The depression and ring and stuff spoil the minimalist look, in my opinion. I understand the desire to have them though, lining things up often makes wireless charges a pain in the arse. There really aren’t many advantages of wireless chargers over a wired dock are there?

This one looks really nice, though the reviews aren’t exactly stellar. Ouch.

While true (on Amazon, anyway) - at least some of the truly awful reviews are from people complaining how they can't charge their phone while it's still in a case.

That's not really a reasonable expectation.
