Getting a gmail acct is free and easy. I have ab email for the sole purpose of not caring what gets spammed there and I use it as my MR email addy for this account and others.
It's all just too much hassle for me these days. It's gonna have to be for something really great for me to give up an email or phone number. I just... I don't have in me anymore.

Also... it would be simple for this site to just award it to a poster. So there's that.

Good luck everyone!

Still working on ordering my AWU from the iMazing contest. (Through no fault of MacRumors or iMazing/DigiDNA; I’ve just been away.)

All those "photos" look like someone took a stock photo and slapped Apple stock photos of the watch on top of it. None of the photos are real. And real titanium bands would cost 5x that price, so I'm guessing it's only a small part titanium and the rest is cheap aluminum... or plastic.

It made all my red flags wave.

And then you check out Trustpilot:

(Many 1-star reviews.)

And it's pretty much as expected.

This is a great giveaway MacRumors! You are awesome. I am just curious. I have been a part of several giveaways and have never won (not a complaint... stick with me). Do you post the winners once confirmed? I don't remember seeing stories about the giveaway resolutions. As I think about it, I can think of a few reasons why not, but still... I do think it would be nice to know that someone does win and hopefully enjoy their winnings!

If all I had to do was post a message here, I'd do it. But I'm not giving my email away anymore. They can say what they want, but the spamming of my phone number and mail box says they're not always truthful. There's a reason they want your email, and it isn't always because they need to contact you. Rarely is it, mostly, it's not.
So create a burner email address.

Maybe one day, Apple will create a system which lets you hide your email with a couple of taps when you get presented with a field asking for your email address…

Tag Heuer Link anyone....

I’m not sure about it being stupid watch band. However I don’t care for the indented line running down the middle, it looks like a scratch from certain angles.
I’m not sure about it being stupid either but it certain looks like so. There’s a difference ;)

I have one of these on my Ultra and I like it
I ordered and just received mine.

Very light and feels solid. Taking out links was pretty easy with the tool. Color matches almost perfectly.

However, I'm sending it back for a new one. One side of the band that locks into the watch is loose. Hoping the replacement will fit snug on both sides.

It looks like the rubber grommets are a bit too low or flat on the loose side.

The bracelet does not look at all like a Submariner bracelet - google it. It is more like a TAG from the 1990s.
Anyway it does look rather nice and is very well priced for titanium.
At this price it is likely titanium grade 2 which while comfortable on the wrist, will scratch immediately. it will look worn out soon. Titanium grade 5 is a hardened alloy that though more expensive, would be ideal for a bracelet.

Yeah if you think this bracelet looks like a submariner‘s bracelet the Apple Watch is probably the right watch for you.

Nomad has a titanium bracelet that is much more expensive. I don’t think this bracelet is nearly as nice as Nomad’s.

It’s a shame Apple has not updated their link bracelet. It’s a marvel of engineering.

Nice looking band, nice to have options. I sold my apple watch but I still have their link bracelet and it's a premium piece, high quality.

This watch would look great with Apple's Silver Link Bracelet (currently $349.00).
Since I didn't win the last one, I think I'm primed for this one...(especially after all of the hoops to jump through just to get entered).

Lululook band is pretty spot on with the color and texture of the AWU titanium body. You can see the band of the left, also claimed to be titanium, is probably stainless steel.

I had to wet sand the ends of the link on the cheaper band on the left to dull its shine. I still might keep it for $16. I do like the way the links look more than the split middle link on the Lululook.

Not sure why but the end links on the Lululook are a slightly different color too.

Hoping the replacement I ordered for the Lululook fit better into the watch that this one does. I guess if just one fits snug again I can swap it out with the loose one I have now and send back both loose connectors.

The Lululook feels really good on the wrist too. The cheap one, which is a tad wider, feels off and it pops halfway open when ever I get a notification LOL. It doesn't fully open though.

I weighted them and the Lululook is 47g and the fake titanium is 61g. That is with links removed to fit my wrist.

It does look nice. Does anyone workout with a titanium band? I'm a one band guy who sweats a ton and have had good luck with the Nike one, but might be nice to have a "dressier" band.. I don't see myself swapping bands like ever though.
