AppleCare+ actually tracks your location if you buy the Theft & Loss plan, too -- and they're so adamant about it, they put it in all caps in their terms of service: "FOR YOUR LOST OR STOLEN CLAIM TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR COVERAGE, FIND MY IPHONE MUST BE SWITCHED ON AT THE TIME THE DEVICE IS LOST OR STOLEN AND MUST REMAIN ENABLED AND ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR APPLE ID THROUGHOUT THE THEFT OR LOSS CLAIM PROCESS."
