Not that I expect to win, but do they usually just send an email confirmation to notify you? Just curious the special actions that take place.

That's what the rules suggest. What they don't say is whether they'd send you a reminder, so do check often the week after one of these ends. I've been checking daily for mail from "macrumors" because I'm sure they'd use an official account. Give it a week in case you're the second name they draw

I can confirm since I won this iMazing giveaway last year as well. You will be notified by email. They will try to send you the actual device itself, since they purchase it straight from Apple. Delivery or pickup from the local Apple Store, your choice.
