These datasets are only backed up when you enable encryption. iMazing backups work just like ex-iTunes/Finder: iOS decides what gets backed up, and protects your privacy by only allowing the backup of health/homekit/passwords data if a backup password is set, which you can (and should!) do in iMazing!
Gregzo, Thanks for the info!

IMAZING is the best way to, not just manage but, transfer everything on your iPhone to another pc, external hard drive or device. Over the years I have tried many different methods to free up memory on my iPhone and some were costly. IMAZING is the best and proved itself superior in all ways. My issue was mostly photos, music, videos and Live Photos (which are actually mini videos that suck up even more memory). Other products that offer to accomplish transferring iPhone data does so at a loss of metadata and no guarantees. They make it clear that they will not take any responsibilities for their products not working as advertised. What I found in other products was that when they did work; it would transfer your pictures, videos, data, etc., but when you went to view it at its new destination; you would see a white box with a long file name and would not have any idea which picture/video it was until you actually clicked on it and then manually change the file name, date, etc. yourself. No thumbnails offered and, of course, they do not tell you in advance (prior to purchasing). IMAZING IS THE ONLY ONE THAT KEEPS, BACKS UP AND TRANSFERS ALL OF YOUR METADATA WITH THUMBNAILS. It also backs up through Wi-Fi anytime your phone is in proximity. IMAZING is the best and only iPhone manager you will need. It does not cost that much ($40-50 US dollars) and is worth the investment many times over.
IMAZING RATING: A++ / 5 Gold Stars / The Best Of The Best

So there is a giveaway going and you're complaining that if you are lucky enough to win it (it is expensive no matter what flavor it comes in), you will "hate it" if it comes with base memory?
And considering the phone wasn't even announced yet... How would ANYBODY but apple know what will be the base memory?

Okay, allow me to clarify. "Hating to HAVE" is absolutely NOT the same thing as "hating to WIN." I wouldn't "hate it" if I won new iPhone 12, regardless of the specs. However, I would "hate" USING any iPhone with only 64 GB of storage. So, I'd sell it, and I never hate money. But I'd prefer to use my iPhone X (3 years old) with 256 GB vs. a brand new (and free) iPhone 12 with only 64 GB. I keep a lot of apps, documents, music, photos, and videos on my phone. So, 64 GB would not work for me.

Sorry my original post wasn't clear. I certainly never meant that I'd hate to win one of these contests!!! In fact, I'd be thrilled to win one of those stuffed iMac pillows even though I wouldn't know what to do with it!

So, once again, just to be clear... I would LOVE to win a new iPhone regardless of the specs. If a low amount of storage made it unusable, I'd just sell it and use the money to buy the iPhone I wanted. So, for those of you who jumped all over me for asking about the storage on the device...um, I guess I'm sorry I seemed to touch a nerve?
