I thought it was just me! Definitely experiencing it too. 24 seconds to open this post for me, and twenty seconds to reply to a post in another thread.

Edit: edited to add it's happening on both my Mac and iPhone. And when I hit edit to add that information, it took 17 seconds after hitting "Edit" before I could type.

put in an appearance in the SFF section. The connection speed is really slow, whether I'm just trying to navigate, searching, or doing entering a thread is painful
Completely agree, and thank you for starting this thread, as, initially, I had thought that it was just me, and that I was the only person experiencing this awfully slow sensation when visiting the forums.

In fact, simply to point this out (namely, how incredibly slow the forums are today), to draw attention to it, and to post about it, are the (only) reasons I have paid a visit to the SFF section today.

it reminds me of the dial up days.
Here's my setup, maybe you can provide some advice in speeding up my MR access?
I have a blazing 2400 modem, I shouldn't be seeing the slowness with monster setup

Just chiming in - last 2 days have been frustrating - watching loading bars for sometimes 30 seconds to load pages. Refreshing, starting a new tab, etc - has no impact. It has been pretty rough.

I’m not getting the Cloudflare timeouts anymore but loading has been rough lol.

Safari has been pretty bad for me lately, I usually do all the Apple updates whenever they are pushed out and Safari has just gotten worse performance wise.

I have Firefox open on the side just for testing purposes and the MacRumors Forums are much faster there.

I was wondering this - that’s why initially I didn’t say anything. I was wondering if iCloud Privacy Relay was having a bad gas day or Safari was having a fit. Makes me sad, I like Safari but lately I’ve had to completely kill it and restart it for various reasons - something I didn’t have to do as much before.

For me, and I was online at ~ 6am PDT today, it was fine whereas over the past few weeks I've seen delays and timeouts (see other thread), but I've also noticed that in some threads photos simply don't show, just blank where the photo should be ...

Well, just a few min ago clicked on a news article and it took like 15 sec or so to load, and then on the next click - the timeout, posted screenshot in the other thread

I post at another forum (A Hockey forum) that really gets slow if there are big events like Trade Deadline and Draft. They are on the same software these boards are on, and this board is reminding me of that. It is really really slow and I wonder if the servers broke.

I also ran into a situation yesterday where I was trying to post something (almost an hour after my last post) and I ran into the spam detector, saying that I had to wait 30 seconds to post. That was weird. I wonder if the two are related.
