Lol, I suppose I should have clarified.
By talking I mean IM. And not just little short conversations, long periods of time.
ZiggyPastorius I sometimes text and talk to on the phone.

I imagine email/phones are useful. ;)

I meet a certain forum member for dinner once in a while, but beyond that, I don't really "chat" with any other members.

Oh yeah, I text shfreelance too.
In the future (when I get a job and have a car) I hope to hangout with him sometime, I've always wanted to go to Florida.

Nope. It might be nice to exchange emails. Calling or texting would start to bother me after a while.

I think the forum is the best way to communicate though or just discuss Mac related things.

A lot of the London and UK demi-gods and goddesses are in touch with each other.

I've personally met probably about 40-so MacRumors members, maybe more, some from the US as well and one from Australia. Sometimes we email, but not that often. I've also spoken on the phone to a few people in the US at times. One forum member's office is a two minute walk from my place; we've had lunch in the past.

Those of us in the UK meet up a few times a year; I see some more often than others. But on the whole, I think most of us prefer to leave each other to their private lives off-board. Except for those who met-up and got married or hitched to each other. ;)
 
Not really, I get the occasional IM from someone where that has a question to ask. But I suppose I don't post here enough to have made any friends here. I did talk to Katie ta achoo a few times on instant messenger when I first joined because I found out she went to school with a guy I know. But I really haven't spoken to her in a few years.
 
None, but I don't think I'd mind talking to some of you folks. Some seem like rather cool people...other I'd just like to stay away from!

i find my self avoiding threads which have post from 'tallest skill' i get bad vibes from that kid, along with the attitude.

on the other hand, back in the day i did chat w/ nlivo as we both went to the same school and casino

And yes Facebook has a few MR groups. Although it's so dang confusing to find now that they messed up the layout again.

People should post their MR usernames on the Facebook group. I have joined and looked through the members list, but do not recognize anyone from the forums. And it is really confusing.
 
Does talking to yourself count?

The video-mail messages to other personalities can be rather slow, but interesting.

Are you serious? Damn you must not post in a lot of threads as he post in the majority of them. Trust me, Tallest Skil isn't a bad guy. He just post A LOT. I believe he just contributes whenever he feel necessary. Some may consider him a troll, I don't, especially since he usually knows what he's talking about.
