Joking aside, this is just such a cool thread, I'll try to restrain myself though Doctor Q, sorry if this thread was taken off the path again a bit.

The only one I see is from Super Puzzle Fighter 2, which I've never heard of. Oh well, I'm not a video game person.

Yes, well that is the game that I used to play... Devilot was a "secret" character. Anyhow, she's from CapCom and she was originally a very minor character in some other game but garnered more attention from the goofy-almost spoof-like version of Tetris meets Street fighter. Go puzzle games!

Edit: The best thing about it is I post that pic and nobody seems to care what I really look like. Oh, and if you couldn't tell back then my username was oaklandbum. But I don't live in Oakland or the Bay Area anymore... so yeah.

it's a bloody shame so many of you are in europe, or I bet there would be one interesting MR meetup some day down the line 😱

this is just such a fun thread, I had a horrible day (technically yesterday, but since I have not slept yet....) this was a pleasant end. [something mushy and corny to celebrate MR adoration here]


despite the minor detours this thread takes, it's just too much fun [and something really disgustingly affectionate here]

...and should Doctor Q become disgruntled about the mini-hijack, perhaps at least "splitting" the latter portion of the thread (he'll know precisely what that means) would work, so that all the delightful banter is not lost in that notorious place that threads go to die 😉
