I would say no, but I guess it fits into merchandise. So, yes.
Anybody going to Macworld/iWorld? It would be awesome to have a challenge done there.
I live 1 hour from San Fransisco (where it's held) and I got a ticket for 10 bucks from a groupon =)
I live 16 hours from San Francisco, and I can't drive (as in, still 15). I'd say that's a fairly limited group of people who qualify.
At least you're *not on the east coast. Oh gosh, 1 day of driving. I'd rather fly.

I can't believe this one is taking so long to get done! I'm about to start knocking on neighbors doors to find a Sony TV and get this thing moving!
In all fairness, this thread is not doing as well for a few key reasons:
1) To difficult
2) To specific "Mercedes Key AND a HP printer?"
3) Showing your face
These three problems were also issues so could we please eliminate that...
Some alternatives....
Instead of Mercedes key and a HP printer; a Mercedes key with ANY printer
Or instead of showing your face show and body part (elbow, foot, etc)
KISS
Keep it simple...

I don't think that the key and printer challenge was that hard... It is hard to objectify what exactly is too difficult, I think. Besides, who said a scavenger hunt had to be easy?

I would just like to point out that this is an apple forum.
Most of the challenges should involve there products.
If the Scavenger hunt is not easy not many will participate, Firestar who was very active in the last one, has 0 points because as he said "I am not going to spend all this money."
I suggest us back to the basics...

I'm not going to continue to argue this, but honestly, I enjoy making challenges that mostly don't involve Apple products. Why? They are creative. If everyone starts making challenges with just Apple products, where has the creativity gone? There will surely be duplicates. Like I said, it is hard to objectify what is necessarily difficult, because what's difficult for some, may be easy as all get out for some.
I may make any of my future challenges "easier," but I can guarantee you, they will not all involve Apple products.
I actually agree with wrinkster. This is a mac forum, not life forum. I will now change the challenge to something more apple-ish.

I actually thought your request was one of the easiest ones so far, can't believe it didn't get filled. I actually went to 4neighbors houses, and I gotta tell ya, it looks like Sony's losing some serious television market share...

You're missing an 's'. Keep It Simple, Sweetie.
I think we should start stopping challenge changing. Changing it to a more generic challenge is fine (i.e. a Swan speaker and x to any speaker and x, but not swan speaker and x to iMac and x). It's just a way so that challengers don't lose their point. It's usually done on the third day, so the game would barely stall if they didn't change it and lost a point.

I would like to point out that this is the Community Discussion forum. A very significant part of the threads made within this forum are not related to Apple products (except Apple Industry, but that's a subforum). I have absolutely no Apple products, however I enjoy participating in this Scavenger Hunt. As someone who doesn't own Apple products (the minority of this forum), I wouldn't be able to participate if this was purely Apple. A wide variety is much more fun than having every single challenge be about Apple, IMO.
I disagree to an extent. Obviously since it's an Apple forum, a large amount of challenges are going to be related to Apple, but having them all be Apple-esque would be very repitive.
Not many of these challenges are difficult, it's just sometimes rare that people have the needed items. And if it got too easy, it wouldn't be that fun, IMO.
That applies to Apple products too. Nobody's going to have every single product that these challenges ask for, and I'm okay with that.
If all of these challenges are this repitive, then the participants will decrease just as they will decrease if the challenges call for stuff that's very rare, therefore making them 'difficult'.

This is Community Discussion. Not iPhone, iPad, iPT, Mac, etc. This is where people talk about non-Apple stuff, and I don't think this challenge should be an exception entirely.
Just angry birds, could download the free version on your iPhone and take a pic of it running with the tv in the background.

But that is not a physical iPod. That was stated in the original post. It is required unless the challenge states otherwise.
OK guess I'm just confused. Didn't see any mention of a physical iMac and a physical iPod like I've seen on previous challenges.
