I am running the last generation G4 powerbook with OSX 10.4.11 (the last version available for this laptop) and have all my software updated regularly. For the last several months, however, MacRumors has been crashing Safari. At first it was intermittent. Now, it invariably happens within seconds of loading the site.

The browser freezes and nothing can be done except to force quit.

Anyone else experiencing this? Any thoughts? It only happnes with MacRumors.com, as far as Ive been able to tell.

I requested a moderator move this to the Site and Forum Feedback Forum
I am running Snow Leopard, so I can't test this
But I am sure the Administrators will be interested to look at it

I have an older PB with 10.4.11 and latest Safari. No crashed for me. I use it almost every night as it's my computer to use in bed. :D

[I am Running snow leopard on both my macs. 2008 Mac Tower 4 gigs ram and my new 2011 Mac book pro. Every time I visit a site (Baxtorboo) it crashes both my computers. Is this an issue with the site or both my computers

well, props for searching. :)

fwiw, I just visited Baxtorboo.com and didn't crash (Mac Pro, 10.7.1, Safari).
