what about all in black?

fine... I just wanted to make it a little different. This is already turning into another cafepress type of shirt. :( We need to make it more original, any thoughts?

I think I liked it with the red better. Looked a bit more dynamic, that and I just don't like things that are mainly all black.

Same here, but I could always offer more then one version.

It would be cool if the tagline was:

The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later.

(or whatever it says whenever there's a big announcenemt from Apple)

I'm number 1 on the preorder list! I want the rev. b back :D

(kidding about the preorder btw... I wish I had money....)

So I went back to the drawing board and changed things around a bit. Tell me what you think. There's 2 new versions of the front and 1 of the back.

SOLD! :D

I like the black and I like the Rev. B. slogan.

Let me know if you ever sell these. I'll take one in XL. Seriously.

Edit: applemacdude.. avatar.. yikes!

One possible preorder, 19 to go. :D
Obviously I wont take any money until I get permission from MR and can take photos of a real life version.

You joker, you don't have $12? How about you check that change bin or under the couch cushions. ;)

To the OP....

It doesn't sound like you have a whole lot of experience in screen printing. If this is your first time making a screen print T shirt, don't try selling it because it won't be as nice as your buyers will want it to be. I too once had a graphics instructor, and my first couple of screen print designs were pretty awful. I really think you should get some experience in before you have some angry buyers on your hand.

And also, most of your designs would require 3 screens, and one of them would take four. Are you aware of how much work that is?

For the record, I don't have terribly high expectations. I just want a shirt with some sort of Apple/MacRumors reference and the Rev B slogan on the back. :D

How bout just a plain black sweater...

Anyway,

I like the black-red version, with the "rev. B slogan"

I am undecided on the front of the shirt, I'll think about it some more.

Nice work so far.

I wont be making them myself, I might help out a little bit though. As I said in my original post, my instructor is going to make them with his advanced consortium students. I have made a couple t-shirts, but I don't plan on doing this alone. My instructor said he would be interested in it.

OK, just making sure you weren't getting in over your head. If the instructor and the advanced students are doing most of the work, go for it. good luck.

Will you be paying by money order?? :D

Prefer the black and red myself. Could potentially be interested in one for the hubby after seeing a picture of a real one....

cool beans. I like them more then the red for some reason. I was attached to the red, but like the subtleness of the grey/black combo.

I like them a lot. I'd definitely buy one. So, say 17 to go.

I might take one, but I really dislike all black shirts. So boring. *yawner*

What about a green shirt with white and red writing?
Dark grey instead of black, and the red bit on the sleeves?

I won't buy one if it's not black...

Well, maybe... But I have sooo many green (as well as other basic color) Tee's.

Black shirt with white courier font white seems to be the common geek shirt format.

I like the shirt. Black and grey sounds good even though I liked the red, too.

Put me on your list I take one.

I don't wear t shirts so I'm not going to buy one but I will happily take 20% of the profits for coming up with the slogan on the back that everyone seems to like so much. Heh, no I won't but we'll see if you pick this up.
