So I'm gonna give my Mac to someone so they can repair it, but I don't like the fact that they can see everything I have on it. So I would like to know, if there's some way I can secure all the files on it, so they can't see or use them.

I'm pretty sure you can use FileVault to encrypt files.

Just a word to the wise though, it is recommended that you have your computer serviced at an AASP or Genius Bar.

More importantly, make sure you have a backup or you may never see your data again.
