Yea "24" uses TiBook everywhere. The president uses it, Kiefer Sutherland uses. He even used it to do some hardcore interrogation of a terrorist. What does it all mean.? Let's use Macs to terrorize Iraq...

i see them in a lot of music videos and the like but there is a big white circular sticker over the apple symbol, a la sum41 video (ugh cant stand them) the record producer has a TiBook with big sticker.

I wonder if Apple has some sort of deal with Fox, because there's quite a few Fox shows that use Macs, and I've hardly ever (if ever) seen a PC on there. Shows that feature Macs include the X-Files, 24, John Doe, Fastlane...all the major dramas, it seems. I dunno if product placement in these shows could be related to an Apple deal with Fox (it depends on who makes the shows, I guess), though.

Didn't Seinfeld always have mac?

I remember he originally had the Mac SE as a background prop. I don't think he ever used it, though. If that show were still running, i'll bet he'd have upgraded to the curreng imac.

whoops, sorry, missed flowbee's post. I wonder why...

x-files's mulder and scully never used macs. I think their personality would fit. You know, FIGHT THE SYSTEM!

if you look even more carefully they were also using iMacs (in the daycare place) and the computers that were non-macs all were running linux or something like that.
You will also note that once in a while (like when you see pics of computer people in antitrust) you see a mac.
Most of the time you gotta look carefully because they'll almost always have something over the apple light on the laptops.
The desktops are too obvious though.
i always thought swordfish would be the movie where they'd get all macs...no they just had to get ALL dells...servers, laptops, monitors and desktops

If I remember correctly, in Jurassic Park when the people in the control center are watching the guy out on the dock... the "video feed" is really a quicktime clip. You can see the qt controls at the bottom of the video.

I've seen a few other movies do this, too

Don't forget his Twentieth Anniversary!

edit: Macintosh, that is.

One Hour Photo has 2 Macs

Mark Romanek's One Hour Photo has 2 Macs in it: the father has a PowerMac that he uses for his design business and his son has a vintage iMac.

The father (Michael Vartan from Alias) also has cinema displays and I think there was also one more Mac in the movie as well.
