I am using MacTubes on my iMac G4 700 with 512 RAM.

Is it possible to make make mactubes open whenever someone visits a site with a YouTube video on it. Lets say there is an embedded YT video on a site. Could MacTubes open when I try to play that video.
Thanks

Unfortunately no, unless someone knows something that isn't in MacTubes preferences settings.

You can dl and install MPlayer to play all file types that are actually on the computer, and it does a great job, but it doesn't play streamed video.

Your best bet on embedded YouTube videos is to go type the exact name of the video into MacTubes and play it there. It is a bit of a pain in the rear but at least the videos will play.

To be honest mate, I'd get this thread off here ASAP, the admins are very iffy about stuff like this...

And to answer your question... No, you cant, the best I can think is to embed the videos as the dude above said :')
