Petcube.... my god...

did those guys ever have real pets at home ?

they are not that stupid to be entertained with a laser pointer

another stupid kickstarter just to raise easy money

I have my ticket for MW but I am so unmotivated to go. The entire show has seriously gone downhill. Last year they had a vegan cheese company set up advertising their food products. Had nothing to do with Macs or Apple products. Wasteful. Hardly any exhibitors showed up. Very anemic show.

First off, I applaud all developers for their creativity. Way to push the envelope.

Having said that, anyone that needs a pet cube probably should not have a pet in the first place. The ring has potential, but having to hit that button with your thumb each time seems awkward.

Lol. OMG... This is funny as hell...

Technology....not only controlling our lives, but now we have to obey them too with "The Ring" (not any way affiliated with Lord of the Rings)

Maybe it should though .... It makes allot more sense now.

PetCube is like 'god'. "I can't leave you alone for 2 minutes."

Just because all this technology taps into our house hold, and now let's, no matter how crazy all of this looks, doesn't mean we all have to be dumb does it?

You would think their are still people with enough brain cells left to think fir themselves if it's the right thing.

Edit: nice kitty...

I always like these videos, they compare them to cute fluffy things.

So new technology is bad and if you own it you can't think for yourself? What's the point of this little rant?

PS...your spelling is atrocious.

Single finger gesture vs. Siri

I'll take Siri.

Extending that finger gesturing to a few nodes as thin bands and use as a means to manipulate objects, thumbs up.

Lord of the Ring

That ring does cool things but the problem remains that it is a ring that goes on your finger. That isn't cool.

It's a TV camera!
No, it's a microphone!
No, it's a laser pointer!

Hey, hey, hey... calm down, everyone. You are all correct!

A camera... A microphone... and a laser pointer.

A camera... A microphone... and a laser pointer.

A CAMERA... A MICROPHONE-

Are you getting it?? These are NOT three separate devices- This is ONE DEVICE!!

;)

Nice things..

but..

Kickstarted projects. I nearly spent the cash on a Oculus Rift prototype. I don't mind rich people. I do mind being led to believe I'm investing in a new product only to find out I coughed up the initial cash for somebody else's 2 billion buy out.

Money gone and a 3d virtual Facebook timeline device with added 3d wrap around banners.

Can we trust kickstarter projects ever again?

I do 't mine technology that is worth it, but a ring on a finger to waving around in mid air like a fairy doesn't do anything for me..

Technology that makes things better, and useful, like an iWatch, even though I personally don't really like it because if no 3G it's useless without a phone paired, at least I can see the point of this on the go.

I can't see the point with these things. When batteries die, this us all just one more problem we have to face. Even if it's "trying"to look out for our pets. It still relies on batteries. There is a place if everything, but this PetCube should of been a kick starter project...

I never expected this to come from Apple.

PS... Give me some slack, my Autocorrect is on

While I agree that cats are crazy about laser pointers, if you want to get your cat really entertained, get a goldfish and a fish bowl. Fill the bowl with water and put the goldfish in. Don't forget to cover the top with a net! It goes much better with any furniture and it's gonna be the only thing, apart from food, your cat will care to wake up for.

Also, now that we can simply tell the devices our bidding, what the hell do we need to wave our finger for?

I understand that some people like the products, but I think they both soon end up just like any other useless clutter.

It didn't come from apple. And there are many potential uses for the ring, you just lack the imagination to see it. And that's why you don't work for an innovative tech company.

We already monitor the house temp, smoke alarms, cameras and now pets.

Next! Watch that cheese age with the new CheeseCube!

Ring is impressive but unless it has full iOS integration, all it will end up being is a cool party trick that will work with only a handful of apps.
